What is Urgent Care?

Urgent care refers to a category of healthcare services that provides immediate medical attention for non-life-threatening conditions that require prompt treatment. Urgent care facilities offer a middle ground between primary care and emergency room services, addressing acute medical issues such as minor injuries, infections, or illnesses. They provide convenient access to medical care without the wait times associated with emergency rooms. Urgent care centers are equipped to handle a variety of urgent health concerns quickly and efficiently.
